Church news for April

The Church Quiz held on 9th February in the Village Hall, was a great success, we had difficulty squeezing all 16 teams into the hall, Mark’s usual teasing questions helped our brains out of winter hibernation, and we thank him for the work put in get the quiz together. We raised about £280 for church funds. Well done to the winning team, and thanks for everyone who supported us.
Easter has seen a busy few weeks for us all, and especially the clergy team, we appreciate their work, leading our services at this special season. Hopefully following a ‘long weekend’ break, and the Easter school break we all feel refreshed as we launch into our summer events and look towards a bit of sun, warmth and countryside colour.
