We were sorry to hear that Rev’d Jane, had her operation cancelled in January, but we understand she has another date in March, we send our love and best wishes that she will make a speedy recovery, and will feel much better after it. We are pleased that our other members of congregation who have also recently had operations are also well on the mend, and it is lovely to have them back to join us for our services.
As we approach Easter, many of us are taking the incentive to ‘give things up’ for Lent, and so hopefully we should all be much fitter and healthier, as we make a new start at Easter. Let us use this as a time to consider, how lucky we are, that we have the choices and opportunity to be able to give things up as we please, unlike many, not only in the poor parts of the world but also our own country.
Church AGM on Sunday 7th April at 12 noon – all welcome to attend, and find out what has been happening in the Church over the last year, and our future plans.
The Electoral Roll is being renewed this year, so if you would like to be included, please contact Robert Denton, and he will pass on the relevant forms – Members of the Electoral roll can vote on church matters.
